da dobrowin: As reported by The Daily Record, Celtic are showing interest in NK Lokomotiva attacking midfielder Lovro Majer ahead of the summer transfer window.
What’s the story?
da pinnacle: Always on the hunt for young talent that can compete for first team places in his first team, Brendan Rodgers is likely to have decent resources at his disposal this summer as he looks to build a team that can show progress in European competition next term.
One talent apparently on the Hoops’ radar is Croatian international Lovro Majer.
So say The Daily Record, who reckon he has been scouted by the Scottish champions, citing sources ‘on the continent’.
The paper say he would cost around £1.5m to bring to Glasgow.
Is he worth supporters getting excited about?

Who is he?
Already a full internationalist with the Croatian national team at the age of 20, Majer a player showing significant potential and in an attacking midfield role at Lokomotiva is flourishing.
He is having an excellent season in Croatia, scoring ten goals and creating eight assists in a team that is only just keeping its head above the relegation zone.
Adjustment would be necessary should he make the move to Celtic, but they’re crying out for competition in the traditional ‘number 10’ playmaker slot with Tom Rogic often facing fitness issues, Stuart Armstrong’s long-term future uncertain and Callum McGregor more suited to a less creative role.
Can he be the latest young star to make his name in green and white hoops?
