According to the Birmingham Mail, Axel Tuanzebe and Henri Lansbury were both back in first-team training for Aston Villa on Monday.
Tuanzebe – on loan from Manchester United – has not featured for Villa since picking up a foot injury in December.
Lansbury, meanwhile, has only played eight minutes of Championship football this season due to a persistent hamstring problem.
The mood in the Villa camp will be very good at the moment following back-to-back wins over Derby County and Birmingham City.
Dean Smith’s side are now just four points off the playoffs ahead of what is a huge game away to Nottingham Forest on Wednesday night.

It would be fair to say that the Villa fans were absolutely delighted with the update on 6ft 1in Tuanzebe, who was a key player for the Birmingham outfit in the first half of the season before his injury, but the Lansbury news was met with a fairly lukewarm reaction.
