da casino： Manchester United are on the verge of completing a deal to bring Angelo Henriquez to England, Mirror Football claim.
The Chilean forward is set to conclude a £3 million transfer from Universidad de Chile, after passing a medical at the Old Trafford club on Tuesday.
The 18-year-old is adjudged to be one of the brightest prospects in South American football, and has been on Sir Alex Ferguson’s radar for the last year.
Having scored 11 goals in 17 appearances for his senior side, a number of European clubs have been keeping an eye on the teenager, as his stock rises.
It is thought that Manchester City even made a bid at the 11th hour to try and steal the forward from their cross-town rivals, but Henriquez opted to move to United despite the Premier League champions’ offer being bigger.
The confirmation is expected from United in the next 24 hours.
